Regular six pack abs exercises
Squats are essential for strengthening the abdominal and the back muscles. The two groups of muscles work great together for the support of the spine. Squats are really great under the circumstances because they train the core muscles and they promote excellent fat loss.
Crunches mainly consist of lifting the shoulders from the floor when in a lying position with the torso bending towards the knees. The position of the arms could vary a lot. Some people keep the hands on the chest, others behind the head to support it, while others keep the arms on the lateral. The feet are always in a 90-degree angle position and as far from the floor as possible.
Sit ups are similar to crunches with the only difference that you keep the feet on the floor. There are difficulty levels for the performance of such six pack abs exercises. When you master the regular variants really well you can start adding weights and work with them.
Jackknife sit ups involve simultaneous torso and leg movement. You should lift the shoulders and raise the knees at the same time so that you can actually touch the knees with your face.
Special mentions!
You should be well aware that no matter how much of ab exercises you focus on, the main way to get your six pack abs is by losing the fat around your waist. The faster you lose the fat, the faster you get your six pack abs. This cannot be achieved with simple exercises like sit ups and crunches.
You should stick to heavy compound exercises like squats, deadlifts, chin ups, push ups etc… that also develop six pack abs while burning more fat from your body.
Even with the easiest forms of training, injuries can happen. Most abdominal exercises pose risks for the neck muscles and their condition, because beginners have the tendency to push the chin forward when sitting up or crunching.
The body posture during training should be carefully checked before the exercise and during the routine. It is preferable to have a pro supervise you until you learn how to perform the exercises on your own. Six pack abs exercises are not difficult, they just require a bit of care on your part!
